There is no firm release date for season 5, as the writers of the series have only recently begun writing. Seasons 3 and 4 were released three years apart. However, the pandemic caused scheduling and production delays. The wait for season 5 should not be too long, although it’s possible that we won’t see Stranger Things 5 until 2023 or 2024. Fear not, Netflix subscribers were afraid that the show would switch to a weekly release. The final season will follow previous incarnations and be published all at once, according to Variety, which received confirmation from Netflix’s head of scripted series for the United States and Canada, Peter Friedlander, on June 7.
