Police state that the car must have hit a tree around 11 pm on a Saturday near Croton Falls Road, McLaughlin Drive. The 74-year-old driver was seen driving his car in a drunk state. He was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving intoxicated. He was sent to the Putnam County Jail. Officials haven’t released the name of the people involved.
