According to a report, Desiree Ford has died in a sad vehicle accident. The family and friends of Desiree Ford are devastated by her passing. She is regarded as a member of the school’s graduating class because she received her graduation from West Side Senior High School in 2008.

She lost her battle with breast cancer on Thursday, June 23, 2022, after three years of tremendous effort. She did not feel pain or suffering at the time of her death. As she breathed her last, she was surrounded by loving family and friends who had been there for her throughout her life.
They had supported her throughout her entire life. Mason Carter, Desiree’s son, and Hattie Brown, her grandmother, died before the latter. The Carter family’s oldest child was Desiree. Desiree gave her son the name “Hattie.”

Her mother-in-law, Vertis Johnson; her husband, Michael Carter Sr.; her two sons, Michael Jr. and Mateo, her parents, Arnold Chism and Inita Hall; her seven brothers, her three sisters; and a large number of other aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends will all miss her dearly. Her parents are Inita Hall Chism and Michael Carter Sr.

In addition to having 11 fractures, a broken liver, a blood clot in her spleen, a rip in her upper intestine, and an acquired brain injury, Desiree also had deep cuts and bruises all over her body. Additionally, she experienced numerous complex fractures, which happen when a bone fragment protrudes through the skin. Desiree got an infection in her lower leg as a result of the fact that her car crashed and rolled into a muddy area.
Desiree has undergone 24 surgeries thus far to treat her wounds, including skin graphing to fix the harm caused by an infection on her leg. Additionally, she will soon need surgery to treat her forearm’s fused bones.
Desiree hopes to use her tragic experience to inspire school-aged youngsters by working as a motivational speaker. I want to contribute to altering how people perceive their life, she declares. Desiree Ford Admitted In LHSC
Desiree was admitted to the LHSC’s Critical Care Trauma Center (CCTC), where she spent the next 21 days unconscious.
“It was 21 days before we knew she was going to survive, and we didn’t know what the degree of her brain injury would be until she woke up,” recalls Desiree’s mother of how difficult those first few weeks were.
Desiree and her mother are appreciative of the care and assistance they received from LHSC despite the fact that Desiree’s road to recovery will be difficult and protracted. When asked about Desiree’s experience at CCTC, her mother remarked, “It is difficult to do, but I trusted my child’s life with them. We are fortunate that Desiree is receiving care at such a top-notch hospital. I love where we live.
