Amber Manthorne was last spotted on July 7, and her white Jeep was discovered a few days later south of Nanaimo. On July 9, her 2021 Jeep Compass was by the edge of a logging road south.

Amber Manthorne is a 40-year-old Port Alberni resident who has been missing from her hometown, and police have moved back to a rural, forested area south of Nanaimo to look for her.
According to her friend Kristie St. Claire, her residence near Port Alberni’s Great Central Lake was searched for several days until investigators opted to concentrate on the region where her car was discovered.
On Sunday, St. Claire and others rushed to the area where the SUV was discovered, a gravel pit near Timberlands and Ninatti roads west of Cassidy.
The search is being assisted by many supporters, called “Amber’s Army,” who are using ATVs. Several people loaded their dirt motorcycles into the back of their trucks so they could travel farther in search of the missing women.
People have been going out on the side roads and searching every street and place they were familiar with, as per the reports mentioned by Global News.

Amber Manthorne has not been found since she went missing despite the ongoing efforts from the local people and the authority.
The flagging tape has been used to highlight a few of the examined sites. Those in charge of the searches have established their own tip line at 250-730-1544, which accepts both text messages and screenshots.
St. Claire reports, that the core search team is seeking to create a structure that could be useful to others in a similar scenario. By Saturday, authorities had essentially searched the entire Port Alberni countryside in search of Amber.
Officials have stated that the absence of the missing Port Alberni woman is completely unexpected. Justin Hall was initially believed to be with her, but he has since been found, Time Colonist reports.
