Following a two-vehicle crash in Needham that resulted in both cars rolling over, one person is dead and another is hurt.

According to the Massachusetts town’s police, the collision took place on Forest Street, close to Rolling Lane, at around 4:25 on Wednesday.

The drivers of the cars were attended to on the scene by Needham police officers and Needham Fire Department employees before being sent to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Needham.

According to authorities, one of the drivers was confirmed dead at the hospital. Needham police declined to disclose the condition of the second driver who was involved in the collision. According to the police, neither of the vehicles involved in the collision had any passengers.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, the state police, and the Needham police are all looking into the accident’s cause.
