A U.S. Embassy to Ukraine spokesperson said to Reuters the allegation about Bridget “is utter nonsense.” A source named Reuters discovered no reasonable evidence to support the claims she had been arrested. An article titled “Military Arrests US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink” got published by Real Raw on October 10. The text has since been copied in video format on Facebook, Bitchute, and YouTube.

In the “About Us” section, Real Raw News said that “information on this website is for informational and educational and entertainment purposes” and also that the site “contains humor, parody, and satire.” The site also has a record of publishing fabricated narratives, including stories about incorrect arrests, often focusing on public figures, and attributing its news to anonymous sources of the U.S. military.
