Addison Rae has come under fire for wearing a bikini with a Christian theme on Instagram.
The image is part of an Adidas collaboration with Praying, a fashion company that sells simple clothing, bags, and swimwear with slogans written on them.
The TikTok star was chastised for the post, which she shared on August 2nd, and she has since removed it from her feed.
However, as of this writing, she has not addressed the backlash or apologized, and fans are still outraged by the image.
ADDISON RAE POSES IN A RELIGIOUS BIKINI
Addison Rae, who has over 40 million Instagram followers, posted a photo of herself wearing Praying’s Holy Trinity bikini on Tuesday.
The white swimsuit costs $100 and features the words “Father,” “Son,” and “Holy Spirit” on each cup and string bikini bottoms.
This is the Holy Trinity, a Christian doctrine that states that there is only one God who exists in three divine persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The influencer posed in a bikini in the raunchy photo, which only shows Addison’s exposed top half, and the Adidas and Praying logos are written on top.
Praying, founded in 2020 by Alex Haddad and Skylar Newman, is a popular up-and-coming brand that employs basic typography, slogans, and images of pop-culture icons.
The Adidas and Addison Rae collaboration, on the other hand, hasn’t gone down well with fans, who have blasted its religious connotations.
THE PHOTO HAS BEEN REMOVED BY ADDISON
Addison Rae has received a lot of criticism for wearing a religious bikini in such a scandalous way.
Following the backlash, Addison removed the photo from her Instagram feed, but she has yet to address the post or apologize.
The next day, she returned to Instagram to promote her new doll and plushies, which are available at Walmart and online.
