Cavo Lounge Naples Shooting

A guy was killed in a gunshot on Saturday night in North Naples outside Cavo Lounge near the Mercato. According to deputies, a confrontation occurred inside Cavo Lounge between the victim and the shooter. Around 10:30 PM, the argument moved outside, and gunshots ensued. The shooter left the area on foot. The unnamed victim passed away at the hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. Detectives from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office are requesting contact information from anyone who saw the shooting.

Alexander Michael Evans Arrested

Alexander Michael Evans, who is 32 years old, has been detained by Mercato police in connection with the gunshot death that happened at Cavo Lounge on October 8 in the Mercato. According to a statement issued by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Evans was detained as he was disembarking from a commercial flight into Fort Lauderdale. Evans was detained for Murder in the Second Degree and other felonies as part of the investigation into the shooting death at the Cavo Lounge.
