A police officer allegedly witnessed a Republican candidate for the board of trustees of an Arizona college system masturbating in his truck close to a preschool, leading to his arrest on a charge of public sexual immorality. Randy Kaufman was detained on October 4, but once news of his detention surfaced on Tuesday, he decided to halt his campaign. The county’s community college police allegedly saw Kaufman masturbating while he was running for the board of directors of the Maricopa County Community College District.

On October 4, police discovered applicant Randy Kaufman parked outside the Rio Salado College child centre “manipulating his genitals in a masturbatory way” while wearing pants that reached his mid-thigh. According to the complaint, Kaufman was in plain view of Wirtzie’s Preschool and Child Care Center on campus, where numerous preschoolers were playing outside.

“Seriously?” the officer said upon finding the Republican playing with himself.

“I’m sorry,” Kaufman allegedly told the officer. “I f*cked up. I’m really stressed.”

What Did Kaufman Say To This Incident?

According to Kaufman, when nearby buying rebar, he became so anxious that he pulled into the lot to use the restroom without realizing it was a parking lot.

After news of his arrest spread, the alleged pervert renounced his bid to join the Maricopa County Community College Governing Board, according to 12 News. The group is in charge of ten colleges, one of which is the one where Kaufman was discovered fondling himself.

What Happened After the Incident?

Due to his proximity to the daycare center, News 12 said that Kaufman was charged with public sexual immorality but might also be charged with a crime. Kaufman’s name will still be on the ballot despite the suspension of his campaign, CBS 3 said.

According to Huffington Post, Kaufman did not mention the arrest in a statement regarding his postponed campaign but pledged to “never stop fighting to safeguard the United States Constitution and the ideals that make America the greatest country in the world.”
