Octavio Ocaa, better known as Benito from Vecinos, died lately. Televisa Espectaculos and colleagues in the entertainment business he knew corroborated the report. Eduardo Espaa, popularly known as Lalo, Ocaa’s close friend and companion, announced Ocaa’s death and paid respect to him with an emotional statement. Lalo expressed his condolences to the family and stated that he would not be able to stop grieving following the death of his closest buddy. Lalo also posted the statement to Instagram, along with a before and after photo of Octavio Ocaa. Producer Elias Solorio also shared his sadness on Twitter, saying he couldn’t believe Ocaa was no longer alive.

The information of Octavio Ocaa’s death has been inconsistent and perplexing. He was apparently going with two other persons in his grey vehicle. According to El Universal de Mexico, Ocaa and the other two people were stopped by municipal police on the Chamapa-Lechera highway for allegedly being inebriated. They did not, however, halt and instead fled the area. Following a chase, the vehicle collided with another private vehicle. After a few seconds, a shot was fired, which may have resulted in the death of Octavio Ocaa. According to sources, Ocaa was the owner of the weapon, and it is uncertain who pressed the trigger. Ocaa’s companions have been arrested, and one of them has been hurt. Inside the vehicle, alcoholic beverages were also discovered.
