What Is Bikini Kill?
Bikini Kill is an American punk rock band. In October 1990, the members formed the band in Olympia, Washington. The group consisted of the members: guitarist Billy Karren, singer and songwriter Kathleen Hanna, bassist Kathi Wilcox, and drummer Tobi Vail. Their unique music is hardcore-influenced and characteristically abrasive. After performing two full-length albums, several EPs and two compilations, the band members disbanded in 1997. However, the band reunited for tours in 2019 and 2022, with Erica Dawn Lyle on guitar in Karren.
