You dont have to panic. Because the lab assistant is on the other end, and she is the second fastest among others. She can come to you in 2 minutes to get across the bridge. You have to slow down a bit to match her pace, and you will reach the Janitor and the Professor in 2 minutes. By this time, the Zombies will reach the other side of the bridge; you can cut the rope before the zombies get you.
