According to Yahoo Sports, on Friday, Britt was expected to be sentenced to 4 years in jail. A scheduling issue pushed the sentencing to Tuesday. Young’s family was not pleased with what they believed was a short sentence and were expected to appeal to the judge for longer.

Sentencing would bring an end to the criminal case, and Britt’s admission of being at the Chiefs facility that was adjacent to Arrowhead Stadium prior to the accident renews a suitable question that neither the Chiefs nor the NFL appears interested in addressing.
