Faith Lutheran Teacher Arrested

A former Faith Lutheran teacher was detained on Monday and charged for having sexual relationships with a teen pupil. According to court documents, David Wayne Pendley was arrested on six counts of a school employee who was having sex with a kid older than 16 when he was booked. According to a representative for Faith Lutheran, the former pupil informed the institution on December 20 that she had a romantic involvement with the former teacher.

Who Is David Wayne Pendley?

According to the criminal complaint, Pendley compelled a 16-year-old student to engage in sexual activity with him, engaged in sexual activity with her and made her sit on his lap while kissing her. According to his LinkedIn profile, Pendley began his employment as a middle school theology instructor in April 2015. As of Tuesday morning, he was still featured on the school’s coaching staff website.

Pendley is accused of having intercourse with a student who was 16 years old or older while working as a school official in a position of responsibility and is facing six charges. According to court documents, prosecutors claim that the charges occurred on or around January 1, 2018. According to Las Vegas Justice Court records, Pendley was freed from custody pending the criminal case resolution.
