Alaskan Bush People
Alaskan Bush People is a docudrama-style reality television series based in Alaska that follows the Brown family as they attempt to survive in the wilderness while cut off from modern society. On May 6, 2014, the Discovery Channel debuted the series. It follows the extended Brown family’s life and is shot on location in Alaska near Copper Center, Hoonah, and Chichagof Island, with later seasons shot in Okanogan County, Washington. Although ostensibly a genuine reality TV show, it has been chastised for being scripted and/or fabricated.
In April 2019, Radar Online learned that the show was renewed for a 10th season. The show was renewed for season 11 on November 13, 2019, with the premiere date set for December 4, 2019. Season 12 will debut on August 23, 2020. Cast member Bear Brown announced on Instagram in August 2020 that the family’s home had been destroyed in the 2020 Washington wildfires. Billy Brown died on February 7, 2021, at the age of 68, following a seizure.

How is Ami Brown Doing After Billy Brown Died?
Ami is attempting to live her life without Billy Brown, though he is present in spirit. She intends to build a new barn for the animals because she knows her late husband wanted to expand the ranch.
The mother-of-eight also stated that it is the start of a new era in which she and her children will work to turn the ranch and farm into a working ranch and farm. “The dream hasn’t died, nor has it changed,” she added.
She said on Alaskan Bush People: “Sad as it may be, da’s not right here with us, not physically, but we know in spirit he is. And we know what all da wanted — we have to go on, that’s what we do.”

What Happened To The Brown Family After Billy Died?
Following Billy Brown’s tragic death last year, it was unclear whether the Brown family would reunite for the new season of Alaskan Bush People. Fans can now rejoice, as the Wolfpack has returned with a new season of the hit docu-drama series. Season 14 of the show premiered on Discovery and Discovery Plus on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET.
The Brown family will try to survive and thrive in the wilderness without their family patriarch, Billy, in the new season of Alaskan Bush People, as well as overcome various issues together.
Billy Brown had already been in and out of the hospital for several years due to heart problems. The doctors even advised Billy not to stay at such a high altitude because it was harmful to his health. Despite the advice, the father-of-seven chose to live his life in the mountains with his family, despite his condition.
Billy Brown, the star and patriarch of the reality series Alaskan Bush People, died in February 2021 at the age of 68 after suffering a fatal seizure while on top of North Star Ranch.
The reality show even documented a 911 call made by an Alaskan Bush People production member during Billy’s seizure on the October 31 episode. Later in the series, the Browns bid farewell to their beloved patriarch and attempted to honour his legacy.
Bear Brown, who also appears on the show, confirmed his father’s death on Instagram. He wrote:
“We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure. He was our best friend — a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid and off the land and taught us to live like that as well. We plan to honor his legacy going forward, and to continue with his dream. We ask for privacy and prayers during this painful time! God bless everyone!”
Ami Brown’s net worth explored
Ami is estimated to be worth $500,000 in 2021. According to Distractify, Ami and Billy Brown were worth $500,000 prior to Billy’s death.
Ami and her children are likely to have inherited a large portion of their late husband and father’s wealth since Billy’s death.
In 2020, the US Sun reported that “each Alaskan Bush People family member earns between $40,000 and $60,000 per paycheck.”
