How To Fix Instagram Password Reset Not Working?

Start the Instagram application.

Click Get help with logging in or Forgot your password on the login page.

Next, enter your login, email address, or phone number.

Press Next.

Choose to Send an Email or Send an SMS from the available options.

If you choose Send an Email, Instagram will give you the choices to Reset your password or Log in with your username.

A confirmation code is supplied if you choose to send an SMS. You need to input the code to access your Instagram account.
Instagram app update
You may update the Instagram app on your phone using this method.

For iOS users, visit the App Store. If you’re an Android user, go to Google Play Store.

Enter Instagram’s name into the search field to find it.

Choose the Update option.
Use the Incognito window to access the link sent to your email.

Click Get help with logging in on Instagram’s login page.

Instagram via Facebook reset

Select Log In With Facebook on the following page. It’s immediately below the Send an Email and Send an SMS Message buttons.

Next, enter your Facebook username and password (if Facebook is already logged in on your phone, you won’t need to input your credentials).

Type your Instagram account’s new password twice.
Install Instagram again

Tap and hold the Instagram app on the home screen.

Then, on the Android smartphone, choose Uninstall. On an iOS device, tap on Remove App.

Select Uninstall or Remove to confirm, depending on whether you use an iOS or Android device.

Next, depending on your smartphone’s OS, go to the Google Play Store or the App Store.

In the search box, enter Instagram.

Decide on an app.

Click Get or Install next to the software.
On your computer, click the Password Reset link.

Open the Instagram application.

Click Forgot your password or Get help with logging in on the login page.

Next, enter your login, email address, or phone number.

Press Next. To receive the password reset link, choose between email and SMS.

After Instagram delivers the link to reset your password to your email or mobile device, make a note of it. Alternatively, click Share Link and choose Notes. The URL will be copied to the Notes app on your phone.

Turn on the computer and enter the proper URL into the web browser.

Lastly, type the fresh password.
On Android, clear the Instagram cache.

Select Applications Installed.

On Iphone

Change the Password on a Different Device

You could attempt to reset the password using a different device. If your smartphone is not helping you change your Instagram password, repeat the process on an other phone. The instructions may differ somewhat depending on whether you use an iPhone or an Android device.
