Ifeanyi, a three-year-old son of Nigerian music singer Davido and his partner Chioma, has passed away.
Ifeanyi drowned in the swimming pool in his home in the Banana Island region of Lagos State, said the report in major news agencies.
Ifeanyi, who was born in 2019, was supposedly drowned for a very long time before being found and taken to a hospital in the Lekki district of the state. He was, however, confirmed dead when he reached the hospital.
A few days after his third birthday(October 20), on Monday night, the horrifying incident took place.

Ayo Makun, better known by his stage name AY, an accomplished comedian, announced the news on Instagram in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The young child, who had just celebrated his third birthday, was said to have drowned in a pool on Monday night, according to information received.
When Ifeanyi arrived at the Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi, he was immediately pronounced dead.
According to reports, child Ifeanyi drowned in the family pool and was underwater for some time before being found and taken to the hospital.

Tragic news has reached the family of music legend David Adeleke aka Davido with the death of Ifeanyi David, his first child with Chioma Rowland aka Chef Chi.
Ifeanyi, who had just turned 3 years old, is said to have drowned in his father’s Banana Island pool. He was taken to Lagoon Hospital on Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, Lagos, but he died there.
