When there was a talk regarding “The Ellen Degeneresz Show” being cancelled, some people on Twitter took things further and falsely tweeted that Ellen took her own life due to the cancellation of the show. But Ellen is very much alive and doing well. Producers confirmed to the New York Post that the show wouldn’t be canceled. Why Is Ellen Degeneres Show Canceled?
In an interview with “The Hollywood Reporter published on Wednesday, host Ellen Degeneres said she wanted to exit the show long back. She also mentioned that the show no longer challenged her creatively and decided ahead of signing a three-season contract extension in 2018. Allegations of behind-the-scenes bullying and harassment on the show were publicized in July 2020 by anonymous Ellen employees. They mentioned incidents of harassment, sexual misconduct, and assault from top producers. The three producers of the show were immediately fired.
