She belongs to Naaguja and Yanmatji heritage, her father was a Neville Councillor in Western Australia, and she was bought up in her mother’s native place New South Wales. She had a passion for music at a very young age and started singing at seven. She started her music career in 1999 in her uncle’s music band, Donovans. In the year 2004, she released her first Solo Album named Changes.
