A Reddit post says, according to his Instagram story, Killy has been arrested. Killy was set to go on his European tour when all of his shows were abruptly canceled. Dave claimed today that he has been arrested indefinitely due to Toronto police’s search for Canadian rappers. Unlucky day in Killy  land.

One of Canada’s most wanted men is the Toronto rapper KILLY. The teenage rapper whose real name is Khalil Tatem is now considered one of Canada’s hip-hop elites after appearing among rappers like Pressa, Anders and 88 Glam on 6ixbuzz Entertainment’s Canada’s Most Wanted compilation.

Is Killy In Jail?

A Video uploaded on YouTube on October 14, 2022, says that Killy was recently arrested by the police. But, we are not sure that it is just a rumor or is he really in jail. Because there was no official news or statement on the internet regarding his arrest. So, we have to wait till the official announcement of rapper Killy’s arrest. 

Since started to rap in 2015, Killy has immersed himself in Toronto’s nightlife and made a number of contacts. The sole releases Killy made in 2015 were the songs he recorded in a single studio session and put out all at once the following year. He put out three more tracks in 2016 after releasing his debut single, Big Bux, on SoundCloud. The songs generated local attention in Toronto for Killy, inspiring him to make additional music.

Who Is Killy?

Khalil Tatem, also known as Killy, is a Canadian-Filipino rapper from Toronto, Ontario. He is most known for his breakthrough single “Killamonjaro,” which Music Canada has certified Platinum, and his debut album “Surrender Your Soul,” which Music Canada has certified Gold.

Filipino and Bajan parents gave birth to Khalil Tatem on August 19, 1997. Killy was born and raised in Toronto before moving to Victoria, British Columbia, at the age of 8. Although he was one of just a few kids who didn’t speak French, Killy went to a school where the bulk of the students were francophones while he lived in Toronto. Killy said that he was “under-represented” when he started attending a school in Victoria where he was one of the only minorities. While attending Agincourt Collegiate Institute, Killy became disinterested in education and began playing soccer in his free time. He also learned about rap music and eventually turned it into a hobby. In Scarborough after returning to Toronto as a teenager, Killy started to devote more of his time to making music.
