An off-duty Assumption Parish deputy came to help the boaters at the time. The deputy radioed for help, and law enforcement blocked Chiasson and Nolan as they tried to escape. Justin Chaisson, a TikTok celebrity, is a law enforcement officer with the Louisiana State Police. He is known under the alias ‘Stalekracker’ on social media. Stalekracker is best known for his cooking videos and clips highlighting south Louisiana culture.
What Happened To Stalekracker?
Stalekracker was placed on leave this month due to his involvement in a hit-and-run boating crash. Bryan Nolan was arrested. He was charged with DWI and hit and run. After 10 days, Bryan was arrested again and then charged with negligent injuring and 2 counts of careless watercraft operation.
Jodi Sheets, a passenger on the boat, said, “It was the scariest moment of my life. We saw the vessel coming, and it was almost like I could see his face, and it kept getting bigger and bigger. It was in slow motion but very fast at the same time. All I could think about was I have nine people on this boat. If we all fly out, how am I going to get them back on this boat and them not drown?”
Stalekracker Hit And Run
The wreck happened in July, but Justin was not placed on leave until October. According to Chris with the WBRZ Investigative Unit, Justin was on a boat Bryan Nolan drove when it crashed into another vessel in Assumption Parish. Investigators express that Bryan and Justin fled the scene but were intercepted by officers while trying to get away.
WBRZ confirmed that Justin did not call for help or report the wreck after it happened.
