John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. John Gacy was a serial killer and sex offender from the United States who raped, tortured, and killed at least 33 young men and boys. As “Pogo the Clown” or “Patches the Clown,” characters John created, Gacy frequently performed at children’s hospitals and philanthropic gatherings.
