The man was gone by the time Sexton woke up at 7.30 a.m. He left the house without his wallet, ID card, or truck keys.

The gruesome discovery came after a month-long exhaustive search by the missing man’s family and friends, who were aided by cadaver dogs. A $50,000 reward was being offered for information leading to Nash’s location.

Nash was discovered in the water wearing the same pyjama pants and dark shirt he was wearing when he stopped by a convenience store hours before going missing to pick up some items.
