Meta responded to Business Today’s inquiries about the WhatsApp outage. “The team was aware that some of the people who are currently having trouble in whatsapp for sending messages or calling, and we’re working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as soon as possible,” a Meta company spokesperson said. WhatsApp experienced its worst outage, with the instant messaging platform unavailable for nearly two hours. Several users reported problems sending and receiving texts on the app due to the bug. Downdetector, a website that helps in tracking online outages worldwide, reported a significant increase in users reporting WhatsApp’s outages.
How To Fix The Latest Update On Whatsapp Issue?
1. If your phone is running slowly or freezing, try restarting it first. This should solve the majority of everyday issues.
2. If that fails, clear your cache and data storage by going to Settings > General > Storage & usage> Clear all content and preferences.
3. If none of these work, disable background updates for Whatsapp in Settings > App Updates > Clear app data.
4. Disable AdBlock Plus for WhatsApp if you have trouble loading pages.

According to Downdetector, reporting a significant increase in complaints, over 6000 reports have been posted online. Users are upset because their messages still need to be delivered. WhatsApp is currently not functioning generally for most people in India due to an ongoing issue with its network infrastructure, causing issues across the app, including messages being blocked or sent at prolonged speeds. Even when the messages have been delivered, the software fails to indicate it. And now, netizens are flocking to Twitter and Instagram to share hilarious Whatsapp memes.
