How To Fix Squarespace Instagram Feed Not Updating?
Step 1 – Log into Instagram
Log into your Instagram account in a separate browser tab. Let this window remain open. Later, connecting to Squarespace is made simpler.
Step 2 – Login Into Squarespace
Log into your Squarespace website in a different tab or window, then navigate to Settings > Connected Accounts. Each social account that is linked to your website and allows for data pushing and pulling may be seen here. (This is distinct from Settings > Social Links, where links to your social media accounts are configured. We most frequently use these in Social Blocks, and they are just plain links to your accounts—no data is transferred—so they are simple.)
Step 3 – Reauthorize Or Reconnect Your Instagram

Your Instagram account name and “Pull Enabled” appear next to the Instagram symbol.

Click the link to re-authenticate your account if you get a red error notice that says “unauthorized.” You’ll see a pop-up box asking if you want to stick with your current settings. Select “Continue” from the menu.

Go return to your Squarespace account, and click on your Instagram account under Connected Accounts, regardless of whether you got the red error warning. Choose Reset Data from the Settings pop-up for Instagram. Any blockers that use Instagram will then be updated with your most recent posts as a result. Don’t be concerned if you don’t immediately see your more recent entries; sometimes, this takes a few minutes.
Step 4 – Update Your Instagram Blocks
Before contacting Squarespace support, try one more thing if clearing the data didn’t resolve the problem. Edit the page on which your Instagram block is located before making changes to the block itself. Verify that the appropriate account is chosen under Connected Account before clicking Apply Changes and saving the page.
