Outfielder Marcell Ozuna for the Braves was detained early on Friday and accused with operating a vehicle while intoxicated
He told "I disappointed my team," he said. "I disappointed my family. I don't have anything to say more. It's a legal matter."
For Ozuna, it was his second arrest in as many years
At around 4:30 a.m., Ozuna was detained by a Norcross Police officer in metro Atlanta and lodged in the Gwinnett County jail
He was released on a $1,830 bond after being charged with DUI and failing to maintain lane
Ozuna was placed on administrative leave following the arrest in 2021 while an MLB investigation was ongoing, and he missed Atlanta's World Series title run
