Yankees slugger Matt Carpenter broke down in tears before his first series in St. Louis since leaving the Cardinals

He expressed how happy his family is to be going back, especially his five-year-old kid.

Carpenter remarked, "Depending on the day, he tells his friends he's a Cardinal or Yankee, he doesn't know.

Further he told,"They were really excited when we told them last week that we were heading to St. Louis."
