Migos was an American hip-hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia, founded in 2008. Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff was the trio organised by Coach K, the former manager of Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane. Migos has been under the spotlight this past month for various reasons, the most recent being that one of the Migos members was shot. This brought forth a number of speculations, including if it was Offset. As such, what happened to Offset, and is Offset dead? What Happened To Offset?
When the news that someone from Migos died came out many wondered if it was Offset, which prompted people to wonder what happened to Offset and is Offset dead, but Offset is not dead. The latest news about what hapened to Offset is that Offset departed from the trio Migos sometime back. According to The Fader, Offset also filed a lawsuit against Migos’ longtime label, Quality Control, over owning his solo material in August.
Is Offset Dead?
From the above section, it is clear that Offset is not dead. But Offset did depart from the trio Migos. However, Quavo and Takeoff have not commented on why they distanced themselves from Offset. Quavo stated that “I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo because we just came from a loyal family. Sometimes, when shit don’t work out, it ain’t meant to be. So that’s what I think.” While Takoff said “We don’t know all answers. God know. So we pray a lot. And we tell him, whatever, whatever ain’t right, however you supposed to see it fit, you put it back together or however you do it. Only time will tell. We always family, now. Ain’t nothing gon’ change.”
Who Died In Migos?
TMZ reported that Takeoff, the 28-year-old rapper, died. Kirshnik Khari Ball was the real name of Takeoff who was shot at a bowling alley in Houston where Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice around 2.30 am. Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people on the premises were shot and taken to the hospital. Quavo was unharmed.
