Skylar Thompson is a football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He is from America. He has played college football at Kansas State. After redshirting as a freshman, Skylar appeared in eight games and had four starts; he threw three touchdowns on 267 yards. He was named Scout Team Player of the Year. When Skylar was healthy, he played well. He is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the history of Kansas State football, having the record for best passer rating over 2,000 yards.

Skylar departed the game in the first half with a thumb problem with his throwing hand. As per coach Mike McDaniel, Skylar was practically not able to resume for Sunday’s 24-16 loss to the Vikings. Skylar was named the starter for that game, though Bridgewater cleared protocols over the weekend.
