Who Is David Raksin?

David Raksin was a Music Composer for Films and Television. He was known as the Grandfather of Film Music. He composed more than 300 films and 100 televisions. He worked as an assistant in composing Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times. He is one of the great 20th-century composers. He was best known for his work in the film Laura in 1944. David Raksin was named in Lifetime Achievement Award for a Past Film Composer in 2012. David Raksin died at 92 on 9 August 2004 in Los Angeles, California.
