Who Is Freddie Mercury?
Freddie Mercury, originally named Farrokh Bulsara, was a famous British Singer and Songwriter. He was popularly known for his Flamboyant stage style. After writing music for years, he formed the band, Queen, with drummer Roger Taylor and Guitarist Brian May. Freddie has written many classic hits for queen such as “ Killer Queen, Rhapsody, Somebody to love,” and many more. Freddie was diagnosed with Aids later but still continued to record with Queen till his death. Freddie died in 1991, and they held a tribute concert at Wembley Stadium.

Freddie Mercury’s Parents:
His parents were Bomi and Jer Bulsara who were Parsis from the Gujarat region of the Bombay Presidency in India. Freddie also had a younger sister named Kashmira. The family moved to Zanzibar so his father could continue his clerk job at the British Colonial Office. At the age of 17, Freddie and his family moved from Zanzibar due to the 1964 Zanzibar revolution, where many Arabs and Indians were killed. The family then moved to a small house in England.

Freddie Mercury’s Wife
Freddie Mercury got married to Mary Austin. Soon after the couple was married, she ended her romantic and physical relationship with Freddie when he came out to her as bisexual after she thought he had been having an affair with a woman. The couple parted their ways after Mercury came out as Bisexual. Austin was said to have two children, but none of them were with Mercury. Austin still lives in a West London mansion, whereas Freddie died in 1991 from an Aids-related issue.According to the sources it is stated that the couple did not live a very good life.

Freddie Mercury was said to be Indian Parsi. He was born on the Island of Zanzibar as Farrokh Bulsara to Indian Parsi parents. He then moved to Tanzania. He got the name Freddie after attending the British-style boarding schools in India. The Bulsara family migrated from India to Zanzibar because his father thought he could make some money working as a clerk under the British Government. Freddie was sent to a Boarding school in Panchgani in Maharashtra state as a child. Freddie has had a rough past as a kid, where he had to move from one place to another with his parents constantly.
