Jordi Vlasuso revealed he is leaving The Young and the Restless in March 2022. On Instagram, he wrote, “Playing Rey Rosales and being part of the Rosales family was a beautiful chapter in my career,” Vilasuso wrote. I was proud to represent my culture on daytimes #1 drama and work with an incredible cast and crew that I will miss dearly. … As this door closes, others will and have opened.”

Hunter King

Another cast change this year was the swap of who played Ashland Locke. The character originated with GH alum Richard Burgi. But as the year started, he said that the soap suddenly fired him.
