Michaella McCollum from Northern Ireland, along with Melissa from Scotland, was on the party island of Ibiza when they were given £5,000 to transport class A drugs. They were caught at Jorge Chávez International Airport on August 6, 2013, having 11kg of cocaine in their suitcases which were hidden in cereal packets and worth almost € 2 million.
Michaella Mccollum Prison Time
Michaella spent time in jail for 6 years and 8 months in a Peruvian prison in 2014 and was released on parole after 2 years and 3 months in March 2016. She was sent to the Virgen de Fatima prison in Lima while awaiting her trial before moving to Ancon 2 prison.
Michaella recalled the atrocities she saw in jail in her memoir You’ll Never See Daylight Again. She recalled how she slept on concrete beds and ate food that was frequently riddled with bugs.

Michaella is 28 years old now, according to the Irishmirror. She is a single mother to twin boys who are almost four years old.
