The accused is facing seven counts of defrauding by false pretense and false advertisements on TV in order to lure her victims. The victims of Nana Agradaa say that she had promised to double their money through her special spiritual purifications. But Nana had denied the claims of fraud allegations made against her. She posted a video explaining herself and that she had invited the church members of service and helped them with her money for their businesses.

Why Was Nana Agradaa Arrested?

Patricia Asiedu, commonly known as Nana Agradaa, was arrested on Sunday, October 9, 2022. She was arrested for scamming a few members of her church, which is the Heaven Way Church. The members of the church had accused Nana Agradaa of a money-doubling scam. Church members were shocked to see the video of their church members crying since they lost all their money to Nana Agradaa. A young lady can be seen in the video clip where she says that Nana had asked the members to bring any money they had, and they would, in exchange, get a double amount. Later she absconded and was nowhere to be found.
