On Thursday, October 13, Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla confirmed that authorities had arrested his son for an alleged drug offense.
Remulla said in a handwritten statement that he would not get involved with his eldest son Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla III’s suspected drug violation.
The DOJ chief said, “I will not intervene in nor influence my son’s predicament, and I have not done so in any way. A person should always face the consequence of their actions and I will let justice take its own course.”
Remulla continued that his 38-year-old son should deal with his own issue.

Juanito Jose Remulla III was arrested after he claimed a package that allegedly contained Kush or “high-grade marijuana” from San Diego, California, according to JP Soriano’s report on “24 Oras.”
The shipment was estimated to be worth P1.3 million on the open market.
In a handwritten declaration, Remulla promised “not to interfere in his son’s predicament.” Juanito Jose Diaz Remulla III is Boying Remulla’s eldest son.
