Answer To Can You Solve This Sudoku Math Puzzle?

If you are still trying to get the answer to this, we have a hint for you, there are a few different solutions, but we have given you here one of the easiest solutions. You have to solve the equation using numbers between 1 and 9. Here is one clue: The strange “:” symbol represents the division sign. Let us now see the solutions and its explanation.

Follow the steps below to get the answer:

  • Rewrite the snake as an equation

  • a + (13b/c) + d + 12e – f – 11 + (gh/i) – 10 = 66

  • This can be rewritten as: a + d – f + (13b/c) + 12e +(gh/i) = 87

  • assume that b/c and gh/i will be whole numbers, and also that we don’t want 13b/c to be too big

  • There are over a 100 solutions to this equation

  • To keep the term 13b/c as small as we can, he let b = 2 and c = 1.

  • This leads to: a + d – f + 26 + 12e +(gh/i) = 87

  • The numbers remaining are the digits from 3 to 9

  • Lets assume: a = 3, d = 5 and f = 7

  • This results in: 3 + 5 – 7 + 12e +(gh/i) = 61

  • The numbers remaining are 4,6,8,9

  • Now it is a matter of trail and error

  • Eventually the answer becomes e=4, g=9, h=8 and i=6

  • Therefore the equation becomes: 48 + (72/6) = 48 +12 = 60
