Gilbert Shakespeare, Richard Shakespeare and Edmund Shakespeare were the brothers of Shakespeare. Shakespeare was also an influential writer among his other siblings.

As infant mortality was widespread in Elizabethan England, their first two children died within a year of being born. His younger brothers were Gilbert Shakespeare, born in 1566, Richard Shakespeare, born in 1574 and Edmund Shakespeare, born in 1580.

William Shakespeare Age 

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, where he was baptised on 26th April 1564. He was 52 years old when he died. His father, John Shakespeare, was an alderman and a successful glover originally from Snitterfield in Warwickshire. His mother, Mary Arden, was the daughter of an affluent landowning family. William Shakespeare’s date of birth is unknown, but it is traditionally observed on 23rd April as Saint George’s Day. He died on 23rd April 1616 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.
