Garden State Parkway Accident Today! Who Was The Man Killed In The Accident?

Garden State Parkway

A controlled-access toll road known as the Garden State Parkway (GSP) runs the length of eastern New Jersey, from the state’s southernmost point near Cape May to the New York state line at Montvale. Its name is a play on New Jersey’s moniker, “Garden State.” The parkway is designated as Route 444 by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT). However, this designation is not posted. The route changes into the Garden State Parkway Connector at its northern terminus, a part of the New York State Thruway network that connects to the Thruway mainline in Ramapo. With a length of almost 172 miles, the parkway is the state’s longest route (277 km). The busiest toll road in the US in 2006, according to the International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association. The majority of the route passes through densely populated areas north of the Raritan River.
