Shula coached the Dolphins from 1970 to 1995 and led the team to the only perfect season in NFL history in 1972. He was head of the Miami Dolphins for 50 years the team. On the Twitter page, Miami Dolphins posted his image and quoted, “The Greatest. Thank you for everything”. Everywhere from the World share their condolences to his family. According to Miami Dolphins, Don Shul died on Monday morning (May 4, 2020) at his home in South Florida at 90. A Miami Dolphins tweeted that Shula “passes away peacefully at home”. The cause of death seems to be corona-related.

Don Shula was one of the successful coaches who led the team in the NFL in a perfect manner compared to the previous.  Don Shula’s parents were Mary and Dan, of Hungarian origin; they immigrated when he was a child. He belongs to a middle-class family. His father worked in a rose nursery to save $9 a week to build a new house. Shula had six siblings to maintain a stable financial status in the home; her father went to a job in the local fishing for $15 a week, and later, he worked in a rayon plant in nearby Painesville, Ohio.

 During his childhood, he played football with his friends in the street. Shula graduated in 1951 as a sociology major with a minor in mathematics. After graduation, he was offered a job as a teacher and coach in high school.
