Marianhill Accident Today

On November 1st, 2022, Tuesday morning, a horrific accident took place. That is yesterday, in KwaZulu-Natal, a collision on the N3 Eastbound before the Marianhill Toll Plaza resulted in at least four fatalities and numerous injuries.

Herbst stated that there were six vehicles and two trucks involved in the multi-vehicle collision and that Medi Response search and rescue was present.

All four occupants of one small automobile that was swept under a truck were fatally injured.

Multiple people are being treated on location while the deceased is being extracted.

What Happened At Marianhill Today?

On social media, there are videos and pictures of the disaster in which rescue workers are seen utilising jaws of life to extricate trapped motorists.

According to Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) spokesperson Zinhle Mali, traffic has been stopped on the northbound N3 in Durban before Mariannhill Toll Plaza.

She continued by saying that she thought there was a stop-and-go there.

Four People Were Killed In N3 Collision

Reports indicate that six cars and four trucks were involved in an accident, according to emergency service Netcare 911.

Sadly, all four of the car’s passengers showed no signs of life and were pronounced dead at the site, according to Shawn Herbst, a spokeswoman for Netcare 911. When doctors got on the scene, they discovered one of the automobiles pinned underneath the trailer of a truck.
