Who is Nikolas Cruz?
Many individuals believe that Nikolas Cruz, the Parkland shooter, was inspired by his faith to commit his heinous act.
The Parkland School Shooter, Nikolas Cruz, committed a horrible deed at Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018, which led in the lives of 17 innocent bystanders and the injury of an additional 17.
Cruz began firing at the students and employees of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, murdering 17 defenseless individuals in the process. After fleeing the scene, he was apprehended in Coral Springs an hour later on suspicion of 17 murders and 17 attempted murders.
Nikolas Cruz expressed regret for the October 20, 2021 shooting at Parkland High School, in which he murdered 14 students and three staff members.

Nikolas’ Family History
Along with his brother, 23-year-old Nikolas Jacob was adopted by Lynda and Rodger Cruz. He was created in Florida’s Margate. When he was six years old, he watched his father’s heart attack, which terrified him.
The Parkland school shooting occurred two months before his mother Lynda passed away. Nikolas’ half-sister Daniella, according to court documents, is 31 years old.
Cruz, a troubled youngster, was diagnosed with a developmental delay at age 3. Nikolas was found to have a wide range of mental disorders and diseases, such as depression, emotional behavioral handicap, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, difficulties with controlling his emotions, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Cruz had a history of hitting and physically abusing his mother and sibling. The religion and ancestry of Nikolas Cruz are yet unknown.
Nikolas Was Expelled From Douglas High
When I was in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, we talked a lot about firearms and ammo. For his MSD, he participated in the varsity air rifle team.
He was once discovered entering the school grounds with gunshots concealed inside his bag. For this reason, he was expelled from Douglas High in junior high. While a student at Douglas High, he was exposed to a considerable lot of harsh punishment. Cruz was expelled and enrolled at a new school in Broward County.
Cruz, a previous student at MSD High, found it difficult to establish friends and wasn’t particularly outgoing. As well as his brother Zachery regularly faced bullying. He was referred to as “weirdo, scary, and freak” by Douglas High students.
His mother had called the police 23 times in the ten years before the massacre at Parkland High School.
Life In Jail Or The Death Penalty
Cruz has confessed guilt to all counts, thus the defence team is asking for a life sentence, and the prosecution is seeking for the death penalty.
The defence suggests that the shooter could have had mental health issues. Brenda Woodard, his biological mother, also abused drugs and alcohol. Because she was pregnant, Cruz’s mother was imprisoned for purchasing cocaine. The defence team will probably ask the jury to select between the death penalty and life in prison for the gunman.
Although his biological mother had no impact on his upbringing, her addiction when he was a foetus did have an impact on his genetic makeup.
Now Jurors Must Decide
However, considering the premeditated nature of the conduct, it could be challenging for the defence to prove that argument.
The Corona Virus epidemic caused the four-year-old MSD atrocity to be repeatedly postponed. However, the sentencing trial for the convicted MSD gunman began on Monday. The jury will now have to determine whether to impose a death sentence or a life sentence on the gunman.
The victims’ families and the whole Parkland High community were adversely affected by this terrible crime, as seen in the photograph above. It still looms huge because it has some sort of affect on the whole country. Thousands, if not millions, of individuals nationally were affected by this terrorist attack.
