Pradhil Thakur Rajbhansi and his fiancee Priyanka Nunkumar were killed in a horror crash when the vehicle they were driving in was swept beneath a truck. The incident took place on Tuesday morning when the truck driver mowed into several vehicles due to brake failure while traveling east in the fast lane before the Mariannhill toll plaza. The KZN legislature said that Thakur Kooblall and his fiancee, Priyanka Nundkumar died in the crash, where 10 other people were also injured. Thakur and his fiance Priyanka died along with two unknown people when their car crashed beneath a truck that apparently lost control while coming down Mariannhill before the toll gate. Thakur Kooblall and Priyanka Nundkumar were engaged to be married, and they were on their way to Durban to attend a party workshop. According to resources, at least six vehicles were involved in the crash. Multiple people were treated at the scene.

Minority Front Leader’s son, Thakur Kooblall, and his fiance Priyanka Nundkumar were the victims of a terrific road accident. At least 4 people were killed in the accident. The incident took place on a Tuesday morning when a speedy truck with no brakes mowed several other vehicles involving two trucks and five vehicles. Thakur’s car collided with the truck and got stuck beneath it. Four people in the car, including Thakur and Priyanka, were reported dead. The Minority Front Leader was married to the late Amichand Rajbhansi who was the founder of the party. Fikile Mbalula, the transport minister, also conveyed his condolences in a statement.
