Silver Dollar City Accident Today
A train derailed at Silver Dollar City theme park, and visitors broke windows to get out, injuring seven people. Around six o’clock on Wednesday evening, the event took place at the Branson, Missouri, area entertainment park. The park’s Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train was engaged in the incident.
The park acknowledged that some of the train’s components had veered off the track, but it did not mention potential causes. The park acknowledged in a statement that six visitors and one employee had been taken by ambulance to the hospital. According to CoxHealth representatives, they are seeing several patients.

A witness informed KOLR 10 News that she and her husband observed that their train car’s wheels were silver rather than black rubber after the train overturned. They said they could hear the train dragging as well. In addition, the witness saw people breaking train windows to get off, with at least one person being taken away in an ambulance.
