A group of white men allegedly beat a 15-year-old schoolboy from Perth named Cassius Turvey. Cassius passed away after being allegedly attacked by a man wielding a metal pole while walking with friends on October 13.
After spending almost a fortnight in and out of the hospital, undergoing many surgeries and being placed into an induced coma, Cassius surrendered to his injuries and passed away on October 23.

Cassius Turvey was allegedly beaten when walking home from school with a group of friends in Middle Swan, in Perth’s northeast, on October 13 at 4.30 pm.

Cassius died ten days later from intense head injuries.
