A few months later, in September 2001, Edna and a few girls were getting drunk in the Rovers. Shelley Unwin, who’d been in demand by Duggie, asked Edna to lock up when they did. The next day, Edna was nothingness to be seen. No one knew where she was until Duggie took an afternoon nap and found her in his bed. Edna was dead.

In 2001, Edna fell ill during an after-hours party at the Rovers and slept in landlord Duggie Ferguson’s bed. Edna was found dead there the next day.
