Colt Cabana is the ring moniker for Scott Colton, an American professional wrestler, color analyst, and podcaster. He has an All Elite Wrestling contract (AEW). He has won the JCW World Heavyweight Championship once, the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship twice, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once, and the NWA National Heavyweight Championship twice. He performed as the old-school masked wrestler Matt Classic in Wrestling Society X and Chikara, and he worked for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as Scotty Goldman.

Nearly a year has passed since Colt Cabana last appeared in AEW. The star has been largely quiet and out of the spotlight, despite making sporadic promotional appearances for the business and competing on the inaugural ROH pay-per-view under Tony Khan’s direction in April.
However, Colt Cabana’s name gained attention after AEW All Out when CM Punk attacked his former friend during a post-show press conference. Punk discussed the specifics of his legal dispute with Cabana in his remarks, and he even divulged private facts like the fact that Colt had a joint bank account with his mother. During the media scrum, CM Punk also called out the AEW EVPs; when they confronted him, a fight broke. Ace Steel was fired from AEW after all parties involved received suspensions.
When Did Colt Cabana Debut On WWE Smackdown?
To challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH Championship, Colt Cabana returned to AEW television on the November 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite. In an effort to destroy everything and everyone connected to Ring of Honor, Jericho declared last week that he would defend against any former ROH Champion. Since Cabana and CM Punk twice held the ROH Tag Team Championship, he was the perfect candidate.
Despite Cabana’s best attempts, the Jericho Appreciation Society was too strong for him at ringside, and after a Codebreaker, Chris Jericho won by pinfall. On July 23, 2022, at the ROH: Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event, Cabana last competed for Tony Khan’s promotion. That evening in Massachusetts, the 42-year-old would triumph over Anthony Henry.
