What Happened At The Woodland Checkpoint?
According to the report from Asian One, it has been reported that two cars and a few lorries collided in the Woodland Checkpost area. At least one car must be damaged in the scenario. This results in slow traffic. And about 9.45 am, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority posted on Facebook saying there were two blocks out of three-lane in the lane due to the accident. He also added that the travellers to Singapore through the Woodlands checkpoint would get delayed in their travel.
How Many People Were Injured In The Accident?
According to the report from Asian One, it has been reported that at around 11 am, ICA said the traffic accident had been cleared, adding in a later update that the tailback of departure traffic from Malaysia had subsided. Malaysian police arrested a 34-year-old driver after a severe Causeway accident that had involved his lorry, one van, one bus, and nine cars. He had lost control of his lorry and rammed into the vehicles, badly damaging them. No one was killed or hurt. After further investigations, it has been proved that the driver had lost control due to technical issues with the brakes.
